I am practically the snack hero when I make this, my friends love it and we all get to snack healthy. I know not everything is about your figure, and sometimes you just want to binge on Junkfood. But if you are still fighting the holiday waistline, and don’t feel like giving out on movie night with your friends, this is the healthy snack 101 for you.You won’t believe How easy this recipe is. Seriously. All you have to do is pop some kernels, melt some dark chocolate, throw in a little salt (and chili flakes if you like some spice in) and voila! You get a crunchy snack. This is not “so” sweet, a little bitter and has a touch of saltiness to it. Really what are you still doing here? - 5 tbsp kernels
- ½ cup dark chocolate, chocolate chips
- ¾ tsp kosher salt
- Pop the kernels in the microwave, in a microwave popcorn popper.
- Place the popped popcorn on a large baking pan lined with parchment paper; set aside.
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30 sec intervals.
- Pour the melted chocolate on top of the popped popcorn, sprinkle with salt, and mix.
