Raise your hand if you’re a banana lover cause if you are these banana blondies with tons of chocolate chips are just for you! I know I just posted the recipe for chocolate chip banana brownies last week, but I think this blog can never have too many banana recipes, and these banana blondies are just to die for.The blondies are very dense and gooey, so you don’t have to make have huge bars to enjoy them, and you can cut it into really small blondies. All it takes to make is one bowl and a whisker, so super fast and easy too. I love using really ripe bananas for this recipe and usually make it when I don’t want to through a way the left over bananas on the kitchen counter.The kids will go crazy if you’ll through one of these babies in their lunch bag, and you can easily pack them up and eat as an afternoon snack at work. The blondies will keep in the fridge for up to a week, and you can freeze them for a month easily.
Banana Blondies with Tons of Chocolate Chips
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- 1 large banana mashed
- 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350° F/175°C. Line an 8''x8'' (20x20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper, Set aside.

In a large bowl combine the oil and brown sugar. Mix until combined. Add vanilla and egg, mix until fully incorporated. Add flour and stir until combined. Next, add the mashed banana and chocolate chips. Stir just until combined making sure not to over mixing. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

Cool for at least 10 minutes before cutting. I made really small 25 squares but you can easly cut larger ones (16 or even 9 pieces).

You can store covered in the fridge for up to a week.
