Wait a minute, you don’t know what is NOVI GOD? Ohhhh you do know what it is, continue to the next paragraph. So what is the deal with NOVI GOD? Back in the USSR, everybody celebrated NOVI GOD (new year in Russian). Truth be told I did not know this holiday before I meet A., in fact, I didn’t pay mutch notice to the beginning of the new civil year. Beeing Jewish I had my own ROSH HASHANA, and here in Israel celebrating New Year’s Eve is an option, not a must.It all changed when I meet A., come to think about it, we started going out around NOVI GOD 4 years ago. Ever since then I go all crazy for the glittery holiday, and frankly who doesn’t? With the YOLKA (tree in Russian); the lights; the decoration, and all the cookies. This has been hard for us, actually I think it has been hard on almost everyone I know. So we decided to roll the dice and throw an extra festive party. The hose is all twinkling with fairy lights, the tree is all decorated and sparkly, and all is left to do is make Natalie’s perfect Chocolate Spices & Sea Salt Brownies.
