Ingredients

  • 6 slices challa bread 1 1/2'' (4 cm) thick
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup low fat milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Spray 13 x 9-inch (33 x 23) baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. Arrange challa slices to fit in single layer in dish; sprinkle cinnamon over bread.
  4. Whisk eggs, milk, nutmeg, and vanilla in medium bowl just until blended. Pour evenly over bread. Bake for 30 minutes or until firm and golden brown.
