  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup coconut oil melted
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 cup soy milk
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease two baking sheets.
  2. Mix the soy milk and vinegar together and let rest.
  3. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add in the melted coconut oil.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the egg and milk, stir into flour mixture until moistened.
  5. Take dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead briefly.
  6. Roll dough out into a 1/2 inch thick round. Cut into 20 wedges, and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush with a little milk, and bake 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
