You must have wondered, where I’d disappeared the last couple of weeks. Well, the good news are, I’m on my honey moon. We decided to take a whole month, and do it the “traditional” way. So this post is being written from the far east, or in other words, THAILAND.
It’s been a crazy two weeks, fun, exciting, interesting and much much more. And since it’s going to take a few more weeks till I get back, I thought to myself I’ll just share some of my adventures. There were quite a lot of them. We were in Bangkok, Siem Reap in Cambodia, and Krabi, yes in less then two weeks. But today I’ll only share the 4 days we spent in the beautiful island of Koh Lanta.
I’ll write all about, how it feels to come back to Thailand after 15 years, in a different post, probably when I come home in a few weeks. But for now, let me tell you about the beautiful island of Koh Lanta. Now this is my first time to the Andaman part of Thailand, so I didn’t really know what to expect, and after leaving Railay Beach, I was very excited to go, to yet another gorgeous island.
Well, it’s not the most amazing beach I have ever been to. But it’s definitely worth a visit, for a couple of days. The great thing about Koh Lanta, is that even though it is packed with tourist, you can just find a piece of white sandy beach, and sit or better yet lay there by your self. I mean a whole beach just for yourself, it’s absolutely perfect, a specially if you’re on your honey moon 😉
We were in a great place, IlMare resort, located on an isolated beach. There was a nice pool, but if you ask me, spending time at or in the pool, when you are a footstep from the beach, is just a waste of your time. The Island holds lots of caffes and Bars and restaurants on cliffs or on the shore, so if your not too lazy to leave your hotel, you can sit for a beer and watch the most beautiful sunsets in the world.
We had a blast, it was actually the first time we got to rest on our honey moon. We did absolutely nothing, except laying on the beach, drinking beers and pineapple mango shakes. I would recommend you pre-book an hotel, since the hotels were at full capacity, and I don’t think it’s something random. We booked through booking.com, I loved using there site, it was easy and simple to use and the costumer service were more than useful when we needed them.
That’s it for now. Don’t forget to leave comments, I love them!
Love, Neta.
