RAILAY BEACH, KRABI, THAILAND
This is my second post, about the great honey moon trip we took to Thailand. I’ve been postponing to write this post for almost three weeks…. Yayks… I know, and I have very good excuses for the procrastination.
I mean you come home to work from paradise, and well, the last thing in the world you need is another task that reminds you, VACATION IS OVER, it’s time to get back to reality. Having said that and doing my best, to try and get back to planet earth, I think that my new goal in life is becoming a full time traveler. I haven’t got the slightest clue as to how to do it, but this is my newest dream.
Really I can’t imagine a better way to spend my every day life. Getting up in the most beautiful places in the world. Being connected to nature. Eating exotic food. What else could a person ask for?Till the moment I can do it, you will find me here, writing my post and photographing great dishes, but boy, can’t a girl dream?
So a little or maybe a lot about our stay at Railay Beach. Unlike what you would imagine, this beach is part of Thailand main land. It’s located on the southern west side of Thailand, in bay of the Andaman Sea. This beach has stunning scenery, fantastic white-sand beaches, a jungle-covered interior revealing towering limestone cliffs, caves and exotic wildlife. Waking up to monkeys in your terrace is one of most amazing experiences you could have.
We stayed at the most indulging and luxuries hotels In Railay. The Avatar Hotel was really great, and only a 10 min walk from the Ao Pharanang Beach, which is the most beautiful beach we have ever been to.
So what is there to do in Railay? It really depends of what kind of a vacation your planning. You could go rock climbing, you could stay in the hotel all day enjoy the great view by the pool side or you can just lay on the beach all day long. You can go on hikes, visit the caves or even take great day tours to island close by. I mean you can do almost everything….. Because it’s PARADISE!
All and all we spent 4 great days there. Next time I hope we can stay at Rayavadee resort witch is much more fancy and on the beach!
Things to remember, like I mentioned on the Koh Lanta post, don’t forget to book the hotel in advanced. And if you’re not from Thailand you should definitely remember to change money before you come to Railay, They have really bad rates there.
Getting back to realty is really hard, so you must forgive me that it takes time to write all the travel post so fast. But I promise that I won’t miss anything and you’ll read all about Bangkok, Koh Tao and Cambodia soon.
Till then don’t forget to leave me comments, I do love those!
Neta.
