I absolutely love this honey glazed turkey legs, it’s easy and fat to prepare. You don’t need a whole turkey, and it is as impressive as the real deal. The sweetens of this dish, complements the traditional Thanksgiving meal. Also you can cook this on a festive weekend.If you love turkey, and don’t like to mess with the whole bird, this Thanksgiving twist recipe is just the thing for you.
Honey Glaze Turkey Legs
Ingredients
- 4 turkey legs
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 fresh rosemary branches chopped
- 1 fresh thyme branch chopped
- 5-8 fresh tarragon brunches
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- Salt and ground pepper
Instructions

Rinse the turkey legs, and dry with a paper cloth. Season with salt and pepper.

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

In a small bowl mix together honey and soy sauce, until well incorporated. Divide the marinade to 1/4, and 3/4.

Pour chicken broth and herbs into a heat proof pan.

Coat the turkey legs with 3/4 of the marinade, make sure that the coating is even.

Place the coated legs in the pan. Cove with aluminum foil, punctured with toothpick.

Cook for 70 min, or until legs are golden brown. Remove the foil, and pour the remaining marinade on legs.

Cook for 25 min.

Let cool 10 minutes before serving.
