Weekend Stroll To Jaffa Port
Weekends are my favorites, Saturday in particular. If you live in Israel, Saturday is your only day off. It’s a day of leisure spent with family and close friends. My week days are great, don’t get me wrong, but there’s something magical about being able to get up when ever you want, and not having a “to do” list on your table.
Usually we spend our Saturday with friends, eating brunch in, or at a cool chick restaurant or Caffè. This Saturday we decided to take time off everyone and everything all together and spent the day just walking around the city. Actually we just woke up to a sunny and bright January morning and thought to our self, that we must make the best of the day, and boy did we. We just started walking and found our self at Jaffa board walk, witch made perfect seance, since it’s so close to our home.
There is something wonderful about having no plans, and finding yourself enjoying the “no plans” mode. On a day to day base I must plan everything, I find that when I have no defined plan, I waist time and accomplish nothing. Being self employed means you have to have a well formed outline of your day, week, month etc. Needles to say, I love not knowing whats about to happen in real life, in my career however, I can not afford it to my self. So having no plan for the weekend is an escape route from my day to day, and I love it, and highly recommend you guys to do the same.
Here are some photos of our perfect sunny day, did you notice it’s January? I was surprised my self, unfortunately there is a storm coming this way, as I write this words. No more sun for the next couple of days 🙁
Hope you enjoy the post and photos, don’t forget to leave a comment.
